Position Title: Accounting technician
Status: Permanent, Full-Time
Schedule: Day Shift, Monday to Friday (40 hours)
Salary: 20$ to 32$ per hour

Your responsibilities
- Manage all accounts payable: process and record invoices, follow-ups, payments, reconciliations, and communication with suppliers
- Verify the accuracy of data (amounts, codes, taxes) and ensure timely payments
- Contribute to month-end journal entries and reconciliations (bank, general ledger, various reports)
- Perform full-cycle accounting tasks in JobBoss: invoicing, journal entries, payroll, amortization, etc.
- Prepare year-end documentation and support the Financial Controller
- Assist in improving accounting processes and ensuring compliance with internal controls
Your profile
- Diploma in Accounting
- 7 years of experience in a similar position
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (strong asset)
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced level) and JobBoss software
- Autonomy, discretion, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
- Bilingualism: an asset

- Act as a technical expert
- Plan and organize the tasks for methods agents and programmers
- Prioritize and initiate new projects
- Develop effective communication strategies
Management
- Supervise and mobilize your team
- Ensure that each member knows their priorities and has the necessary tools
- Manage absences, vacations and other HR-related aspects
- Ensure the integration and training of the team
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Your profile
- DEC or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 10 years of experience in a strategic role in the industry
- Excellent communication and team management skills
- Customer-oriented with the ability to manage priorities
- Bilingual (French and English)
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Advanced Excel)
