Position Title: Accounting technician

Status: Permanent, Full-Time

Schedule: Day Shift, Monday to Friday (40 hours)

Salary: 20$ to 32$ per hour

Your responsibilities

  • Manage all accounts payable: process and record invoices, follow-ups, payments, reconciliations, and communication with suppliers
  • Verify the accuracy of data (amounts, codes, taxes) and ensure timely payments
  • Contribute to month-end journal entries and reconciliations (bank, general ledger, various reports)
  • Perform full-cycle accounting tasks in JobBoss: invoicing, journal entries, payroll, amortization, etc.
  • Prepare year-end documentation and support the Financial Controller
  • Assist in improving accounting processes and ensuring compliance with internal controls

Your profile

  • Diploma in Accounting
  • 7 years of experience in a similar position
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (strong asset)
  • Proficiency in Excel (advanced level) and JobBoss software
  • Autonomy, discretion, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
  • Bilingualism: an asset

Your profile

  • DEC or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 10 years of experience in a strategic role in the industry
